Stoicism and mindless optimism.
I really like this article in WSJ, titled " Look Ahead with Stoicism and Optimism" (link: http://online.wsj.com/article_email/SB100014240527487041528045746285224832197...)
The juxtaposition of the 2 words - stoicism & optimism seems strange, but upon deeper pondering, it makes perfect sense in such a time and age where cynicism thrives and ideals flop.
I believe we are the master of our fates (to certain extent). And what better way to look ahead in 2010, but with "Stoicism and mindless optimism"!
